Our principal engineers are Licensed Professional Engineers and Board Certified Diplomates in Forensic Engineering, with extensive deposition and court experience.

William R. Keefe, P.E., CSP

Mr. Keefe is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois, and has a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Illinois. He is a Certified Safety Professional and a Board Certified Diplomate in Forensic Engineering. He has conducted thousands of accident investigations at Hazard Engineering since 1983. He has lectured at the University of Wisconsin, and he is a member of various engineering and safety organizations.

Joseph G. Leane, P.E.

Mr. Leane is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois, and has a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois. He is a Board Certified Diplomate in Forensic Engineering. He has conducted thousands of accident investigations at Hazard Engineering since 1988, and he is a member of various engineering and safety organizations.
